LSI Standard 20 | LSI Intensive 30 | Plus Courses

General English

These General English group courses are carefully structured to develop effective communication skills. They are designed for those who want to learn a new language or develop their present knowledge for private, educational or professional reasons. You can choose either the Standard 20 Course (4 lessons per day) or the Intensive 30 Course (6 lessons per day).

If you want to combine your language studies with other activities, the Standard 20 Course is the ideal program for you. During the lessons, you will learn communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In the afternoons you can use your new skills on your own or take advantage of our social program.

The LSI Intensive 30 Course consolidates your practical and theoretical skills in the language. In addition to your morning lessons, afternoon classes are designed to further develop your skills under the supervision of one of our trained teachers.

These lessons provide a comprehensive review of the Canadian culture and customs. Students who have reached the intermediate level can take the TOEFL® or TOEIC® preparation course in the afternoon.

Plus Courses

In addition to the group lessons, either 5 (PLUS 5) or 10 (PLUS 10) private lessons are available (one plus lesson equals 45 minutes).

The combination of group and private lessons is especially useful if, in addition to general language learning, you need to develop or improve certain skills. We will develop with you an individual teaching plan which will enable you to concentrate on your own specific needs. This course can be taken with the LSI Standard 20, LSI Intensive 30 or LSI Mini-Group Course.
