The Cambridge Advanced examination is especially intended for people with a good knowledge of English who need the language in their work. In this examination, practical use of English is stressed, such as skim reading reports for important information, writing memos for colleagues, or more formal business correspondence.
The CAE, the newest Cambridge certificate, has quickly developed its reputation, and is already accepted in many countries as proof of an advanced level of competence in English.
